2. Decipher

To decipher or interpret is the ability to comprehend what is being said and to communicate the significance of that information successfully to others. Because many careers involve various tasks and responsibilities, being able to comprehend and decipher information is paramount.

For instance, if you worked for a marketing company you would need to be able to decipher information that you have gathered about the customers. In fact, having the knowledge and ability to accurately analyze the data will quickly advance your career.

To enhance your ability to decipher what people are saying or comprehend research data results try learning how to recognize facial expressions and body movements.

3. Accurate Conclusions

An accurate conclusion is the ability to be able to recognize and comprehend the components within the information you are given in order to come up with a hypothesis. A likely scenario would be the ability to determine why sales have decreased and increased in the business. Then to replicate similar circumstances that will encourage sales.

A great way to develop the ability to accurately conclude and access situations is by reading or watching mystery movies. Try to look for clues in the plot that help you develop investigative skills.

4. Calculation

Calculating or evaluating is the ability to recognize the legitimacy of information being presented. Accurate evaluations require both analytical and people skills. Perhaps you have a new line of products and you ask consumers to fill out a survey about the quality of the products.

Although the questionnaire is filled out in private, many will not respond honestly for fear of hurting someone’s feelings. Being able to calculate the true meaning of each question in the survey is a true asset to the business and a sure way to advance in your career.
