For a resume to be effective, it has to balance being informative and showing your personality. While some resume builders guide you through what you should put through a pre-reviewed template, these usually don’t have the flexibility to move around some things and do some tweaks to the template.
However, there is full customization for other resume builders, but there is little guidance on what information to resume. Resume-Now attempts to balance this by providing a template for you to use and still allow for tweaks and adjustments towards the end of the process.
This extensive (and unbiased) Resume-Now Resume Builder Review will discuss the experience of creating a resume using their website, support options, reviews, and other information about the website.

Resume-Now Resume Builder Reviews
Resume-Now is rated 4.7 on Trustpilot.
What is noteworthy for Resume-Now is that its team replies to every single review and comment for their site, whether it is a 5-star review or a one-star review.
Among the top positive comments for Resume-Now on Trustpilot include superb customer service and top-notch quality of products.
Meanwhile, almost all of the negative comments for Resume-Now are about their charges and the cancellation of their subscription.
The Pros of Using Resume-Now
1. Their Website Design is Engaging
Resume-Now’s website design is well thought of and very engaging to use. The resume builder uses interesting photos combined with graphics across the website and effectively captures the user’s attention and engagement.
Its colors are also easy on the eyes, and the way transitions work around their website is smooth and naturally flowing. The resume-building process also has some graphics which help guide users on what to put on their resume information sheet.
2. Good Customer Service
Resume-Now’s customer service has been lauded many times in the independent review site Trustpilot. There were a lot of comments about Resume-Now’s customer service representatives being of great help to users.
Also, Resume-Now offers many avenues to reach them for feedback and complaints: you can call them, chat with them, and email them. A good testament to Resume-Now’s responsiveness is that they constantly reply to every single review on Trustpilot, whether good or bad.
3. Enough Flexibility
Although Resume-Now has templates and essentially fills them as you put in your information, their editor still allows you to customize your final output. This is not usually the case for some resume builders.
For Resume-Now, you can use a template and still move things around depending on which sections you want to prioritize or highlight. You can also match your resume’s color to the colors of the company you are applying to.
The Cons of Using Resume-Now
1. It Is Not Free
Resume-Now is a very good platform with very good reviews from users. However, its services do not come cheap. Resume-Now charges for subscriptions for either three months and a year.
While some people may appreciate its value for money services, some people would rather go to the free resume builders that technically have the same features and capacity as Resume-Now.
Final Thoughts — Should You Use Resume-Now to Build Your Resume?
- Resume-Now’s Interface — Resume-Now’s interface is one that is well thought of. Everything moves seamlessly and naturally, guiding the job seeker to put in the right pieces of information at the right places. The placement of photos and graphics is very engaging too.
- Best Feature — It provides the perfect balance between using a template and being able to customize the elements of the template. Most resume builders can only provide one: a fully customizable resume builder can be too intimidating, while a strict templated resume can be too restricting. Resume-Now strikes a balance between both.
- Other Extra Features — Resume-Now’s other features include a built-in cover letter builder that generates an entire cover letter based on relevant information you put in. It also allows you to upload old resumes to make the process easier. Resume-Now also offers a spell checker to run through your resume at the end of your resume-building process.
- Biggest Downfall & Top User Complaint — Its pricing. Resume-Now has high ratings and a ton of positive reviews. But it also has negative reviews, and its negative reviews mostly revolve around its pricing and subscription. Users complain of high prices and difficulty in canceling subscriptions when they want to.
Although the process of getting the job ultimately rests on the recruiter, Resume-Now’s resume builder will guide you to give your resume the best fighting chance against other resumes out there.
Resume-Now’s interface is easy to use and sophisticated and has a tone of teaching, so you will know what to put in your resume. Its design work and flexibility are good, too, so you can have a fully designed resume with a touch of your personality.
Overall, Resume-Now proves to be one of the good quality resume builders out there, with sophisticated layouts and easy to navigate the resume-building process. The prewritten bullet points are also sharp, concise, and powerful. Although Resume-Now comes at quite a steep price, it is still worth trying, especially for those looking for an elevated resume-building experience.
